Challenges are something we face each day of our lives, there’s no getting away from them they are there every single day; without fail. How do you deal with your challenges? Are they something you dread each day or are you a person that addresses them with the same enthusiasm you would a favourite past time.

The Christmas festivities are all but finished as we begin our preparation for the New Year. The New Year is a great time to meet up with family and friends to celebrate and ‘welcome’ the forthcoming year; it is seen as a time for a new beginning, a time to make changes.

With the festive period now in full flow, the food, presents, drink, fun and games plus any other added extras you’ll be just about ready for returning to your normal daily routine. How do you feel about all the added pressure; all the extra duties at this time of year? Do you take it all in your stride or does it ruffle your feathers and make you feel uneasy, irritable and bad tempered?

When things don’t quite go right for you do you ever say to yourself, “why me?” If so what are the thoughts you have? Throughout the each day you’ll experience what are known as automatic thoughts; thoughts that appear in your processing systems, totally unaided, as though they have a right to be there.

Christmas is said to be a time for children; if that’s the case then why do we still have masses of children sleeping rough. It’s not only children, there are many people having to suffer the indignity of sleeping rough this Christmas.
